In this course, there will be a particular focus on good exam technique and completing questions in timed conditions. Drawing on a bank of past papers from a range of exam boards (AQA, Edexcel andOCR), the first half of the coursewill help students structure concise and effective answers to comprehensionquestions on non-fiction and fiction texts. The second part of the course will focus on transactional and imaginative writing. Students will be given access to past papers from a range of exam boards. Questions taken from these papers will also be set for homework.
